Our story
Lighting the way, one story at a time
Little Lights Bible Co. was born from a simple belief: that the best gift you can give a child is a love for God's Word — and that love begins with a great story.
How it all began
Little Lights Bible Co. began with a love for God's Word and a desire to help children experience Bible stories in a way that feels joyful, beautiful, and easy to understand.
What started with one idea grew into Genesis Adventures with the Little Lights — books that bring together Bible stories, coloring pages, and hands-on activities so children can learn about God while doing what children do best: imagining, creating, asking questions, and having fun.
Every Little Lights book is created with two things at heart: faithfulness to Scripture and a genuine love for children. From the words on the page to the smallest illustration and activity, each detail is thoughtfully considered with the hope that children won't simply finish a book — they'll remember what they learned about God.
And this is only the beginning. As Little Lights Bible Co. grows, the heart behind it will remain the same: helping little hearts know God's Word, grow in faith, and shine His light.
Our mission
To bring Bible stories to life for every child — with beauty, imagination, and deep respect for God's Word.
Faithful to the Word
Every story we tell is rooted in Scripture. We take the Bible seriously — and we believe children can too.
Beautiful by design
We believe beauty matters. Our illustrations are crafted to delight, inspire, and stay with a child long after the book is closed.
Made for families
Our books are created to be enjoyed together — through Bible stories, coloring, activities, conversation, and time spent learning about God.
Helping little lights shine
We want children to know God's Word, grow in faith, and learn to shine His light in the world around them.
Meet the Author
Founder & Author
D.B. Harris
D.B. Harris is the founder and author behind Little Lights Bible Co., created from her love for God's Word and her desire to help children know and understand it from an early age.
She believes children deserve Bible-based books that are not only faithful to Scripture, but also beautiful, joyful, and made especially for them. That belief inspired Genesis Adventures with the Little Lights, where Bible stories, coloring, activities, and lovable recurring characters come together to make learning about God an experience children can enjoy and remember.
D.B. approaches every Little Lights book with the heart of a grandmother — carefully considering the words, illustrations, lessons, and activities through the eyes of a child. Her hope is that these books create meaningful moments between children and the people who love them, while planting truths from God's Word that can stay with them for a lifetime.
For D.B., Little Lights Bible Co. is about more than creating children's books. It is about helping little hearts know God, grow in faith, and learn to shine His light wherever they go.
